What’s Quilting Made Simple?
Quilting Made Simple is the comprehensive, interactive online quilting program that allows you to experience quilting as it should be, simple, happy and joyful. In today’s busy world it is difficult to get to a quilt shop to take a class and enjoy sharing your passion with other quilters. Maybe you are new to quilting and want to learn what it is all about. Maybe you are like many quilters, you love it but are frustrated because there is not enough time or space for you to create your works of art. You are in the right place. I am here to make Quilting Simple and more importantly FUN!
On Demand classes are comprehensive classes you can download and view over and over again as you work on your project on your own schedule. There will be specific projects and technique classes. Each class will leave you with a blissful quilting experience and a fun product to delight your friends and family. You will also have access to help from the instructor through various social mediums. Help includes anything from selecting the fabrics to get started to what did I do wrong.
If you want the feeling of a quilt class and friends sharing and laughing together, then take a live on line class where you will work with quilters from around the world on a specific technique or project. All you need is a smart phone, tablet or computer and a free platform (which I provide) for joining right in with all of the other participants. All classes will be recorded so you can go back and review the things we worked on that day. In addition to the online classes the instructor will be available for one on one consultation and guidance during the course of the class.
To really take the experience to the next level, you can also choose to participate in Retreats designed to spark creativity and pamper you along the way.
On Demand Classes at $34.99 each are designed to give you immediate access to self-paced quilting classes on a variety of styles and featuring different techniques and tools. These are designed for those busy quilters who may only have a limited amount of time per day to devote to their passion. Each class will be broken down into 10-15 minute segments. You will also have the ability to reach out to me via email and arrange for some additional help if needed. You will have a lifetime access to these classes.
Interactive Classes are live classes featuring a specific project, technique and/or tool. Delivery will be through ZOOM, a free service. You will be able to see everyone and interact as we complete the project together. In addition to the online class time you will receive one – on -one time with me via ZOOM to get help with your project or task. These classes will be recorded and you will have lifetime access to them. Each class is $69.99.
Every student must have their own copy of the pattern for each project. I do not care where you purchase it but you can purchase these patterns from me at a savings of 20%. These are available where you sign up for the classes. The price shown is the discounted price.
“Candy, just wanted to thank you for the class on “Circle of Life”. I am so pleased with what I learned. I like to enroll in classes that are way above my knowledge and skill level and you give me the confidence to do that. You teach in a way that any level can understand. I have taken Judy Niemeyer and Jacqueline De Jonge classes from you. I could not even read the patterns. You taught us such a simple way to do that. We always finish our quilts. You are so patient and helpful. I always feel like I get more than I paid for the class. Thanks for doing what you do for us. You make me and my quilts look so good. See you again soon.”
“Candy Norris’ quilt retreats are always awesome. She has always provided awesome gifts, a pattern for a fun and useful project along with help to complete the project. In Candy’s retreats she has given us great instructions, wonderful stories, lots of sharing and everyone has a great time laughing, sewing and sharing. I love to attend her retreats and look forward to many more in the future.”

Meet Candace (Candy) Norris
I know I am not the only one that has had to struggle with finding the time or space to enjoy this passion. In my years in teaching quilting and running my shop I have run into many quilters that experience frustration and angst that takes the joy out of Quilting. I want to help you carve out time and space, as well as develop skills so that you to enjoy this great past time. I want you to see how easy it is to enjoy the pleasures of transforming bits of fabric into works of art to share with your family and friends.
I am a 40 year quilting veteran. I know well the demands we have on our time. Quilting is my passion. Over the pass 40 years I have juggled my passion with my teaching career and law career. I have learned to work smarter, easier and joyfully and I want to share this with you so that you to can experience the joy. I love taking classes and learning new skills. I am a long-arm quilter. I love handwork such as embroidery and hand quilting. I love using innovative tools and techniques to enhance the quilting experience. I also know how to use many of the tools in different ways to achieve spectacular results. I make it a habit to be actively involved in a project everyday.
Along the way I will share techniques and skills that can be carried over to other areas of your life as well. For example, I will teach you the difference a 3 minute mind-set exercise can have, opening a whole new quilting experience like none you have ever had and allowing you to be more creative and productive.
